Fun-in-the-Snow Event – Sunday, April 18,
2010 12:30 – 5:00 pm
Join Peter
Duck, an award-winning interpreter of Human
and Natural History and a member of our Symposium
Coordination Committee, for an informative introduction
to the landscape of Banff National Park as we
head up the Bow Valley Parkway to Lake Louise
for an afternoon of fun and fantastic mountain
scenery.
Watch the awesome landscape pass by as you hear
about the formation of these spectacular mountain
ranges along with stories of the wolves and wildfires
that combine with tales of human adventure to
make the Canadian Rockies a UNESCO World Heritage
Site. After one or two stops for pictures along
the way, you can spend the afternoon in the Switzer-land
of North America with the historic Fairmont Chateau
Lake Louise as your luxurious base camp.

your own activity at the Lake, from snowshoeing
